Glass and Mica Flake Lining
Glass Flake-reinforced and Mica Flake-reinforced chemically resistant lining for protection against severe chemical exposures and high-temperature immersion service. The overlapping inert flake fillers create an effective barrier to permeation and extend service life. Glass and mica are the most common flakes in use, although graphite also finds some application requiring hydrofluoric acid(HF) resistance or electrical conductivity. These flake-reinforced coatings cure at ambient temperatures and provide superior resistance to chemical fumes, splash and spillage and moderate immersion service.
